I went out Saturday evening with country music singer Kris Allen on a mini expedition.Kris had got some intel on a possible habituation site at an old coal mine in the area.We met up about 7pm and proceeded to what we thought was the site.We found out later we went to the wrong place but still found possible signs of activity including prints and tree anomalies.We will be going back to the area

Here I am hanging the recorder up about 6ft into the tree.May 5 2010 3am.Something approaches the recorder and messes with it.At the end of the clip there is a whistle.This could be a bird.However you rarely hear any type of bird aside from an Owl at 3 in the morning although not out of the question.

First off I have recieved a anonymous donation and with it I have bought a fairly decent audio recorder with it.Once I get it it will be put to work immediately. Update on the strip mine area.Was there today for the first time since the post below. The first thing I noticed was the tree which was bent accross the road was gone. I figured someone moved it. Thought I would post some of my driving vids from last weekend here, This is approximately 2 AM Sunday morning as we head to Seneca Rocks. Video quality is not very good. Here are 4 woodknocks recorded March 28.2009 around 8 PM on the night before the beginning of the expedition. LSurf had arrived a day earlier than the rest of us and spent the night on the mountain alone.He set his recorder out and recorded about 12 hours of audio.As of this date we are still analyzing the audio.

The footprint is on the bottom.I can see toes and a clear curvature.Looks like right foot.Also looks to be somewhat old.The top one looks like it may be one although there are no toes.The close up reveals a left foot curvature.What do you think?
